How we work

Local first
We follow the people already doing the work.
Every cleanup, classroom partnership, or research grant is sourced from a local org with the relationships and the standing. We resource them — we don't replace them.
Lean by design
Small team. Few middlemen. More dollars to the field.
We're a deliberately small operation. Our overhead reflects that, and donations route directly into program work — not staffing layers or office budgets.
Open about progress
We publish what worked — and what didn't.
Our annual report goes out in spring. It includes the partner orgs we funded, the events we ran, and the lessons we learned the hard way. Donors deserve nothing less.
What makes us different
We're built around the work, not the brand.
Most national orgs build programs from the top down. We do the opposite — we partner with the local groups already running cleanups, the educators already in classrooms, and the researchers already in the field. We resource them. We don't replace them.
