What we collect
When you contact us, sign up for our newsletter, or make a donation, we collect the information you choose to provide — typically your name, email address, and any message content. Donations are processed by PayPal; we never see or store your full payment information.
We use standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) to operate the site and diagnose issues. We do not sell or share these logs with marketers.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiries and follow up on requests.
- To send you newsletters or updates you've opted into. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
- To process and acknowledge donations, including issuing tax receipts.
- To improve the site and report on aggregate usage trends.
Third-party services
Donations are handled by PayPal. Our contact form may use a hosted form provider. Each has its own privacy policy and applicable terms. We choose vendors with strong privacy practices and disclose them on request.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — at any time, by emailing info@nwlfd.org. We will respond within 30 days.
Children's privacy
Our programs include educational resources aimed at children, but we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
